national service

My younger brother (18 years old) is studying Form 5 this year.He has been called for attend national service since Jan.I had made appeal for him to postpone the participation on Jan. The stupid natinonal service keep sending letter to inform him date, location of his national service..

Let me worry about 2 days..Coz headmaster said ,if he absent for 2 weeks, will cancel his qualification. Then if he attend the national service, he may miss the Oral test and fail in SPM. IN other hand,if he absent the national service, he will be jailed for 6 months..

So i tried to contact the national service department. None answer the phone.

I wait til Monday to phone the national service department again. The receptionist told me, the appeal was approved. It is the fault of the stupid system keep sending mail out.

Poor government service. If knew the system is stupid, y don't change a new system?Y don't double check before sending mail out?Y don't send acknowledgement letter after the appeal was approved since i made the appeal on Jan?Y don't liase with education ministry to verify whether the participate is finish secondary school education or not?
